From TerpMap

To everyone who makes
this possible.

Florida's medical cannabis program doesn't run itself. It runs on the backs of thousands of people who show up every single day — growing, processing, testing, transporting, and selling — so that patients can access the medicine they need. This page is for them.

From seed to sale — thank you.

It's easy to walk into a dispensary and just see a product on a shelf. What you don't see is everything it took to get it there.

🌱
Cultivators & Growers
The people who tend the plants, manage the grows, and produce the flower that starts it all. This is skilled, labor-intensive work.
🔬
Lab Technicians
The folks running the COA tests that TerpMap is built on. Their precision is what makes any of this data meaningful.
⚙️
Processors & Packagers
Turning raw flower into the consistent, properly labeled, properly dosed products patients depend on.
🚚
Logistics & Distribution
Getting product from the facility to the dispensary shelf — on time, compliant, and tracked every step of the way.
🏪
Dispensary Staff & Management
Running the operations, managing compliance, keeping the lights on, and making sure patients can actually access what they need.
💚
Budtenders
The face of the whole operation. Answering questions, making recommendations, and doing it all with patience and care — every single day.

Every one of these roles matters. Every one of these people chose to work in an industry that still carries stigma in some corners, that operates under intense regulatory scrutiny, and that serves a patient population that genuinely depends on them.

That choice is not taken for granted here.

I need to say something directly to patients.

From the webmaster of TerpMap

I'm not a budtender. I'm a patient, like most of you reading this. And I want to be straight with you about something that's been sitting with me.

I've heard some things lately that I can't just let go. Stories about patients being irate with dispensary staff. Getting aggressive. And then — one that genuinely stopped me — someone physically struck a budtender who was simply doing their job.

That is not okay. It is not okay in any context. It is especially not okay here.

These are people who showed up to work to help you get your medication. They are often short-staffed. They are often juggling more than you can see. And they are always — always — trying to do right by you, even when things are moving slow.

If you're waiting longer than you'd like, I get it. The frustration is real. But consider this:

There are people in other states right now who would trade places with you in a heartbeat. States where medical cannabis isn't legal. States where patients are waiting not just 20 minutes — but months or years for the next vote. The next chance. Maybe just a chance to vote on whether they even get to vote on it.

Some of them will die waiting.

You walked into a legal dispensary today. That's worth something. That's worth 20 minutes.

The people behind that counter made it possible for you to be there. The industry as a whole — with all its regulations and compliance requirements and operational complexity — made it possible for Florida to have this program at all.

Treat them accordingly. Please.

This is an incredible industry staffed by people who genuinely care. Let's be the kind of patients that deserve them.

To every cultivator, processor, lab tech, driver, manager, and budtender in Florida's medical cannabis industry — from TerpMap and from the patients you serve every day: thank you. What you do matters.
